CSDS brings Star Fish education project to North Vietnam

CSDS works closely with different ethnic minority groups in less developed areas of Vietnam to bring about change and promote sustainable development. CSDS does this along with their partner organisations with a particular focus on children and education in Northern mountainous areas. Star Fish is a project that aims to build schools in mountainous areas of Vietnam in order to foster the development of these remote areas by reducing the number of children that cannot go to school and increasing the overall quality of education. This not only benefits the children who now have access to education but also has indirect benefits for the families of these children, their teachers and the overall community. Currently star fish is running three projects in three remote areas. Education Support in Ps Guoc Village: New School–BrightFuture, Education Support in Pha Bu Village:  New School-Bright Future and Tru Lung School  Khau Vai commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province. All of these projects aim to promote education and also to improve the infrastructure in the villages and create access to clean and safe water and sanitation facilities. The project aims to build a playground for the children to further their development and to give them a place where they can enjoy themselves in a safe environment while also furthering their educational capacity. CSDS aims to get this work done using environmentally friendly materials in order to do their bit to promote sustainable development and a green environment. This work is done in partnership with CSDS and VPV.
